All the doors are shaker style doors with either a small V groove on the face of the doors on the join between the style and rail or no groove and be a flat smooth finish. Please choose between these otptions when ordeing the doors.

All our shaker doors are made from tulip wood, we try to dry each piece in our drying rooms to reach a standard humidity which is suitable to adapt to your home. As wood is a living product when entering a home with different levels of humidity such as high and low temperatures and different moisture levels than which the wood is use to the doors may begin to adapt to its new environment. 

Meaning the door may slightly shrink or expand or a bow, the door may even show signs of small hairline cracks this is the door climatising to the room. If this happens a small amount of filler is needed just to go over the small hairline cracks which then is to dry and be sanded and then repainted, for further information please contact our team or visit our care page. 

Due to Sutherland Cabinets not able to control the temperature or humidity levels in your home we can not take responsibility for these issues but of course we are more than happy to help resolve these adaptions and offer advice on what to do, just give us a call or email and a member of the team will be on hand to help. 

 

All doors come primed giving you an option to paint the doors to whichever colour you like.

Any form of errors or problems to be reported on the initial delivery to a member of the delivery team. 

By purchasing a custom sized item, you are therefore confirming this size and are happy for this item to be made to this specific measurement which you have provided. 

You and only you will be liable if these sizes are not then correct once the order has been placed and in no means Sutherland Cabinets limited will be liable to any wrong sizes provided by you the customer. 

If you think the sizes you have chosen are incorrect please inform us straight away by email or call and we will try to help solve the issue. 

If items such as doors are not fitted within 24 hours or if not stored in the correct position “flat” or in the correct environment humidity and temperature or not catched by magnetic door catches top and bottom then any damages or faults are your own and Sutherland Cabinets listed are not liable. 

Due to timber being a natural source there can be forms of movement when coming into contact with different environments, temperatures and humidity, as this is a natural reaction Sutherland cabinet can not take responsibly for door movement after delivery. Please ensure all doors are stored in a flat position once you have received the doors and stored in a reasonable stable environment. 

We highly recommend catching all the doors with magnetic catches to prevent any twisting.

No returns are available on any customised item where specific sizes or changes have been advised. 

Any damages by yourself or fitter or anyone else will be your own liability and not that of Sutherland Cabinets limited.
