At Sutherlands cabinets we create a kitchen that is specific to you. For many of our clients they class the kitchen as the heart of the home. The Kitchen is where families create memories, a room that can be a social hub but also be the place to reflect, sit back and enjoy home made delights.
At Sutherlands cabinets we take pride in what we do by creating a style to suit you, from traditional shaker kitchens to a more modern, sleek finish. We are able to create various designs as we are truly bespoke. By being truly bespoke it enables us to create a kitchen that fits any size or shape.
English made cabinetry is found at the heart of our family run business. We take pride in our heritage of making classic true bespoke English made kitchens and interiors for over 30 years, from our Cheshire workshop. We now not only make traditional kitchens but have added more modern finishes to our kitchen collection, which allows us to offer a number of design aspects to our clients.

All of our kitchens and interiors are created right here in Cheshire, Warrington. Conditionally and truly British made we do not source any of our craftmanship, only relying on our trusted team to create exquisite kitchens and interiors. We are able to help you along this process by designing mood boards and providing samples, to create the kitchen that you have always dreamt of. Our cabinets are fitted to your home from large kitchen spaces to small quirky spaces. Our handmade approach enables us to work a design and craftsmanship into any space. From contemporary designs, to traditional kitchen finishes we can produce a kitchen that you know has been made to fit your home and is unique to you and your family.

Our kitchens:
We decided to name a number of our kitchens to help during the design process so that our clients can clearly see the different types of kitchen styles. This helps the client to choose more freely and easily a style that would suit them.

As a company, we have not just set in stone a list of kitchen styles, all of these five named kitchens have been customised to the kitchen design world. By listing the kitchens in categories it helps us offer you a vision but all of the below can be interchanged, nothing here is fixed. Even if one of these five choices is not what you are looking for and you would like a style that is totally different then that is not a problem.

We offer three generic door designs, Shaker, Beaded and Flat. However, the way you make your kitchen is completely up to you, from hardware, to colour, to even asking for a door design that is unique.
The Heysham:
A classic shaker style kitchen design, simplicity at its finest but with that true sense of history, time and elegance.
An additional adaption to the Heysham kitchen can be created, using moulded framework to the shaker doors style.
The Abbot:
A similar design to the Heysham with shaker doors but the Abbot kitchen design features a distinctive detailed cabinet mould around the cabinet framework. A true work of art and craftmanship where added time and precision is key.

The Disley:
A shaker style kitchen door with the added detail of a set in mould around the inside of the doors, alongside a flat finished cabinet framework.
The Chipping:
An Oak finished cabinetry, solid Oak timber framework and Oak doors. This kitchen design can also be made from Walnut. Traditional cabinetry methods working alongside beautiful timber. Making the perfect sense of natural beauty.
The Prestbury:
A modern kitchen design, the Prestbury is a sleek flat finished door which creates a contemporary finish to modern living. This kitchen design can be mixed and matched to suit you, with hidden hinges and push to open doors, to creative grooved handles or even shaker doors with no framework, the design is endless.
Free standing in frame cabinets
Our free standing kitchen cabinet range is a separate option. This offers you a chance to purchase cabinetry that can replace just single cabinets or to create an entire kitchen. The cabinets are all handmade with a vast variety of options available. If you are unsure on which design or type then please contact our team to discuss this further. Questions about our kitchens
Do you make handmade kitchens?
We use a host of materials to create your kitchen, we offer a very unique service where we are able to truly create a traditional handmade kitchen. Using traditional woodworking methods which have been used for centuries to create kitchen timber doors and kitchen cabinet framework. We use these traditional methods to go alongside our professional spray service which entitles us to offer a smooth and clean service on our kitchens. Our handmade kitchens option enables us to also create kitchens with no spray finish for example many of our clients in the past have chosen to have a complete handmade kitchen that is all timber for example an Oak kitchens we have created which provides a beautiful and a show stopping finish, if not the whole kitchen you can decided to have a feature island which is made from all timber which contracts the main kitchen units.
What about MDF or decorative board?
From our traditional handmade kitchens we can also offer a range which may be a little cheaper, from MDF created style shaker doors or sleek modern flat finished doors. We are also able to use a decorative board which come in a range of colours and styles for example from an Light oak to a dark grey or a pattern finish we are able to use this board for doors and inside the kitchen cabinets.
What are the kitchen internal cabinets made from?
The inside of the kitchen cabinets are made up from a range of materials which can be chosen, veneer, Decorative board, Ply or painted MDF . If the kitchen is an " In frame kitchen" the framework will be made from timber.
Do you provide modern styled kitchens?
Yes we do provide modern styled kitchens our workshop in Cheshire has the machinery to create cut to size doors from a range of decorative, high gloss boards which can create a finish you are looking for. We have a range of options where you can have a handles kitchen with options from a range of unique hidden handle options or a complete flat finished door.
What happens after I contact about a quote?
Once we have received initial contact we will arrange a planned visit, where we will get an understanding of the type of kitchen you would like and the materials to be used, we will take a few measurements and then return back to you in the next few days with an initial quote.
Does someone design my kitchen?
Your kitchen will be designed by our team at Sutherland's cabinets by working alongside you to gain ideas and information of how you picture your kitchen we will then design a front view and a plan view. Where you will be able to see the layout of your kitchen and the type of kitchen cabinets that will be used.
Do you work across all of the North west?
Yes we work across the North west, we are a Warrington based company and have worked in a vast number of places in the North west from Culcheth, Stockton heath and Lymm to Alderley edge and hale barns and many more. We do also offer our services across all of the U.k.
